About the team

We are a growing, ambitious, and friendly Women’s Hardball team. After finishing top of Division 1 in 2023, we have just completed our first season in the 2024 Season in the Yorkshire Women’s and Girl’s Premier League of cricket which has been a great fun season with lots of new experience and challenges, we came 4th in The Hundred and Premier League and went on to play at Headingley for The Hundred Semi Final Playoffs, sadly getting knocked out in the first round to league champions Sessay Emeralds CC.

The team is a nice mix of girls who have come through the Collegiate’s junior system, and adults with a range of backgrounds and experiences. We are always looking for new players and welcome any experience levels.

We train during the summer on Wednesday evening at Abbeydale Sports Club and our matches are generally played on Sundays.
We train indoors on a Thursday evening from January to April at S20 The Boundary.

We no longer have a Women’s Softball team, however we do have junior girls’ teams for both softball and hardball, U10 & U12 girls softball and U14 girls hardball.

If you’ve played cricket all your life, or are looking to take up a new sport, then please do get in touch, we’d love to have you!
